Biography: 

Heather graduated from HSU with a B.S. in Environmental Biology and Botany. She has been studying African Dance for almost 20 years, traveling to Africa to train with Master teachers, and attending numerous African dance conferences throughout the United States and the world.  Her love of African rhythms and Ensemble, AWADDE.  Heather is very passionate about creating community through dance and drum.  She believes the African saying, "If you can walk you can dance and if your heart beats you have rhythm".  Wongai, let's dance! Heather and her husband are also local, organic farmers and own Organic Matters Ranch in Eureka.
